Our guides
Francesco Casagrande
Professional cyclist from 1992 to 2005.
He achieved 51 career victories, including the Flèche Wallonne, Clásica de San Sebastián, Tirreno-Adriatico, Tour de Suisse, Milano-Torino, Giro del Trentino, Giro dell’Emilia, Coppa Placci, and more.
In 2000, he narrowly missed victory at the Giro d’Italia after wearing the pink jersey for 11 days, finishing second, 1’27” behind Stefano Garzelli.
That same year, he was ranked world number one according to the UCI rankings.
After his professional career, he dedicated himself to mountain biking, specializing in marathon races.
Francesco will lead training sessions and ride together with us.
Luigino Oscar Veneziano
A legend in the world of cycling.
Head mechanic at Mercatone Uno alongside Marco Pantani, worked 5 years with Mapei, and served for 7 years as an official mechanic at the Tour de France.
Luigino will provide emergency mechanical lessons and support you during daily rides.
Fabrizio Pederzoli
Creator and developer of the PIT method: a benchmark training protocol for amateur cyclists.
This training system goes beyond simply improving power — with every pedal stroke, it aims to bring out who you truly are. Designed for those who want to ride with soul, not just muscles.
Fabrizio will assess your bike fit and provide advice to optimize your position and training.
Davide De Palma
Former amateur and elite amateur cyclist with over 400 victories.
Organizer of the Rally di Romagna.
Advisor for ExtraGiro and ExtraGiro Race for all off-road events.
Davide will oversee and coordinate both the coaching activities and safety during the rides.

Professional cyclist from 1997 to 2008.
One of the most successful Italian cyclists of all time: Olympic gold medal in Athens 2004, two World Championship road race titles (Salzburg 2006 and Stuttgart 2007), one Italian National Championship, two Liège–Bastogne–Liège, two Giro di Lombardia, one Milano–Sanremo, one stage at the Tour de France, two at the Giro d’Italia, and five at the Vuelta a España.
Today, he is a passionate gravel rider and promoter of several events on Tuscany’s white and gravel roads, including the Geo-Gravel in Pomarance.
